Dr Darren Ould

Darren undertook his undergraduate studies at Cardiff University, where he received his integrated Masters degree (MChem) in 2016. Following this, he undertook a PhD position under the supervision of Dr Rebecca L. Melen at Cardiff University, focussing on the synthesis of novel main group compounds for organic reduction catalysis.

 

Darren is now a postdoctoral research associate for the groups of Professors Clare Grey and Dominic Wright, working on the synthesis of electrolytes for sodium-ion batteries.
