Genevieve completed her BSc in Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh in 2026 through a 2+2 programme with China University of Petroleum (Beijing). For her BSc research project, supervised by Dr Michael Cowley, she worked on dialumene chemistry, with a particular focus on the synthesis of amidophosphine-supported low-valent aluminium compounds.

She is now a postgraduate student in the Wright Group, where her research focuses on main-group chemistry, particularly the synthesis and reactivity of aluminium clusters.
